Washington Hispanic Connections is proud to present the 2nd annual Washington Hispanic Festival, to be held on the Centralia College Campus Saturday, July 26, and Sunday, July 27, continuing its mission of bringing families, friends, neighbors, community partners, business leaders and local businesses together.

After just one year, the Washington Hispanic Festival has become a much-anticipated multicultural event and a truly unique community experience. Of course this year’s family-oriented festival has LIVE entertainment throughout the two days, music, dancing, children’s activities, vendors, and prizes. But, it also has educational and community resources, local public agencies, local businesses, dance workshops, business workshops, information booths and authentic Latin cuisine.

We have added a new segment to the festival as well, partnering up with the Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce and Centralia College to put on a business workshop, Friday, July 25. We will be featuring Ben Coffman, a Peak Performance Strategist and National Speaker from the Anthony Robbins Company and Brad Worthley, an internationally-renown leadership expert as our of the keynote speakers. The purpose of this workshop is to provide extended networking opportunities for the community.

The workshop is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Centralia College with individual half-hour counseling by SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) from 2-4 p.m. All sessions will be held in Washington Hall. Those wishing to schedule a free individual SCORE counseling session should call Neena Torres at the Thurston County EDC, (360) 754-6320, prior to the event. The business workshops and presentations on July 25th are designed as a lead-in to the 2nd Annual Washington Hispanic Festival.
