Dancing Groups:

Gemini (Salsa)

Miho & Diego Duo and guests: Playing a brand of music that is truly their own and not easily categorized, the Duo’s repertoire covers an amazingly wide range of styles with an innovative approach. They play from an extensive catalog of Andean, traditional South American folk, Brazilian, Japanese, jazz and Latin jazz compositions, as well as original compositions.

Ballet Folklorico "SOL AZTECA": A group of great dancers from Oregon performing a variety of native dances form different regions of Mexico.
Mexico en la Piel: a group that is committed to sharing one of the most colorful traditions of our neighboring country, the ballet folklorico Mexicano! Through its colorful customs and energetic dances, this group will bring you a taste of Mexico!
Zumba Works: Sherina, Rica, Brenda, Bev, Nancy and Tina will provide a 30 minute Zumba Basics Workshop, easy to follow fitness activity, to introduce basic steps for Salsa, Merengue and Cumbia.
Yahir Pulido: From State of Vera Cruz, Mexico. A new star in the artistic world, with songs that will move you and a rhythm & style that marks the difference.
Quichua Mashis: Playing traditional and current Music From The Andes Mountains in Europe, South America, Japan, Canada and the United States. The members are Quichua Indians from northern Ecuador. The music they share has been passed down through the generations from the Grandfathers. Musical education in their homes begins as soon as they can hold an instrument, around age five. Many of the instruments are handmade in traditional ways with native materials; bamboo, sheep hooves, goat skins and armadillo shells. If the instruments are not captivating enough their sound will surely entrance you.

SurLLajta /Soor’ –Yah –Tah/ is the newest Andean musical ensemble in the Pacific Northwest; an ethnic revelation of professional level.

Featuring special guest Alejandro Moises originally from Cajamarca-Peru, with an extensive artistic resume and a very unique style.

Alejandro Moises, quien llega hasta nuestros días con un singular estilo interpretativo, plasmado en su canto ,en el que combina mas allá de la técnica y el arte….los sentimientos Lirico, Criollo y Andino.

Alejandro Rugarcia: Originally from the Federal District of the Mexican Republic. With a voice that captivates and warms the heart, Alejandro interprets many unpublished songs from his family.

La voz que cautiva y alegra los corazones Alejandro Rugarcia interprete de la canción bravía y exponente de muchos temas inéditos de su familia, procedente del Distrito Federal República Mexicana solo viéndolo y escuchándole puede describir a La VOZ ALEJANDRO RUGARCIA……..

Jose Luis and his group Ilusión Norteña: Has a style that is 100% Northern. On their last CD they demonstrated that their group attracts a large audience. Ilusión Norteña is “The Law” when it comes to accordion music.

Jose Luis Barragán y su grupo Ilusión Norteña es un grupo con un estilo 100% norteño y en sus últimos CDs nos demuestran porque es un grupo taquillero. Ilusión Norteña es “La Ley” en cuanto a música de acordeón se trata.

Rubén Ramos "EL Niño": From the state of Sinaloa, Mexico. In his 15 year career he can be identified by his country style, because of this, he named his last album 100% Sierreño.

Rubén Ramos "EL Niño" en sus 15 años de carrera artística se a identificado por su estilo campirano, Rubén procedente del estado de Sinaloa le canta al pueblo con el estilo de su estado natal de donde sobresale la música de banda y el estilo sierreño, así es como nombra su ultima grabación discográfica 100% Sierreño.

Juventud De La Sierra: A great group with a lot of dynamics from the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. This is a group that has a versatile musical repertoire with Cumbia, Rancheras, Corridos and Duranguense rhythms, to mention a few.

Juventud De La Sierra, súper grupaso con mucha dinámica, todos del Estado de Oaxaca, es un grupo que cuenta con un repertorio musical versátil con ritmos tal como Cumbias, Rancheras, Corridos y Duranguense por mencionar algunos.

Adán Leyva: Originally from Michoacan, Mexico, discovered a taste for music early in life. Two of his songs “Se te olvida” and “Diosito Santo” is considered by his followers the definition of Adán Leyva.

Adán Leyva, Romántico, originalmente de Michoacán, México a temprana edad descubrió el gusto por la música. Dos de sus temas "Se te olvida" y “Diosito Santo” es considerado por sus seguidores y representantes la carta de presentación de Adán Leyva.

Nestor y Sus Amigos: Emerged in 2003 and in 2006 they recorded their first CD. They are a group that is adapting to what the people like now. Such as, Tierra Caliente, Duranguense, a little accordion music and Sierreña music.

Nestor y Sus Amigos: surge en el año de 2003 y en el 2006 graban su primer CD Ellos son una organización grupera que se esta adaptando a lo que la gente le gusta en la actualidad como lo es la música de Tierra Caliente, Duranguense, un poco de acordeón y música Sierreña.

Los Karnales: Causing sensations in their presentations. They play Mexican regional music and in their very own unique style.

Los Karnales: Causando sensación en sus presentaciones ellos tocan la música regional Mexicana con estilo propio de los Karnales.

Isis Marie Rosario -- a new musical talent born in Puerto Rico and raised throughout the world due to her father’s military career. She began her musical endeavor by playing the flute and then stumbled upon her vocal talents. Able to sing a wide range of musical genres from R& B to Country and of course Latin music, she touches all audiences. She has won scholarships with her vocal abilities and sang with several Latin bands throughout the United States. Isis along with her musical talents also serves the United States Army as an LPN. Having just moved to WA State she recently competed and was chosen as a finalist in Idol on the Lake competition, sponsored by Mixx 96.1. Isis is an international Latin singer who brings her own twist on any musical style.

2008 events & activities also included:

Pony Rides, Bounce Houses, and the Rock Climbing Wall.

The U.S. Army was present with a basketball and football shoot.

Centralia Fire Department gave away FREE prizes and had a medic unit and fire trucks on site, and information in Spanish/English.

Farmer’s Insurance hosted m.i.l.k Digital ID as part of a national effort to provide parents with personal digital safety IDs of their children in the event that their children become lost or missing.

Lewis County Sheriff's Office featured a "Seat Belt Convincer" (a machine ride that simulates a low speed impact while being belted in) .....and more!
